Hello, and congratulations on your new UHK! Thanks so much for your support!
Your UHK packs quite a punch, so it's worth taking some time to get the most out of it. We created this guide to get you up to speed quickly. You'll learn a lot in a fun way. Let's start with the basics!
Unboxing your keyboard
First things first, let's unbox your keyboard, and connect it to your computer via USB.
There are two recesses available for the USB cable. Make sure that the cable is firmly put into the outer recess as seen on the image above, or else your keyboard may not sit properly on its feet, causing it to wiggle while typing. The outer recess (4.0mm) is tailored for the cable we gave you. The inner recess (3.6mm) is optimized for thinner cables you may have yourself.
At this point, you should be able to type normally with your keyboard. The bridge cable is not needed when the halves are merged. But we strongly recommend you split your keyboard for better ergonomics, and connect the halves with the bridge cable. The halves can be easily separated by pulling them apart in opposite directions. It's up to you how much space you leave between the halves, but each of your wrists should be aligned straight-on with each half.
